I just started training in BJJ and having used other types of cups for other sports I already knew it they wouldn't work well for intense BJJ training. For someone who would rather not wear one, this one fits comfortable enough that I forget it's there. And that's the point, learning BJJ requires so much concentration that you can focus on your training and not the accidental shot to the groin. You will train with better confidence. The damn thing actually fits and is comfortable to wear, even when bigger than some down there. Wearing other cups, I couldn't sit for very long without lots of compression and discomfort from lack of enough room. This is more fluid in motion and hardly know it's there. My son and nephew are both wearing them now too. I have worn lots of cups over the years, but this is by far the best thought out and executed piece.
