I play ice hockey, and use the Spider Guard Cup in the pouch of the BIKE athletic supporter I already had. The cup fits perfectly in the pouch of that BIKE jock, and I feel protected on the ice. I plan to buy the Spider Guard brand jockstrap, when my BIKE wears out.

First off, great customer service goes to Brian Kamradt over at Spider for prompt reply to questions about their products.

I just started training in BJJ and having used other types of cups for other sports I already knew it they wouldn't work well for intense BJJ training. For someone who would rather not wear one, this one fits comfortable enough that I forget it's there. And that's the point, learning BJJ requires so much concentration that you can focus on your training and not the accidental shot to the groin. You will train with better confidence.

“The Spider Guard is the most comfortable and versatile groin protector I have ever used.

No more side pinches or constant adjustments. I use it every time I train.”

MMA, BJJ, Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling.

Awesome product.

I have worn lots of cups over the years, but this is by far the best thought out and executed piece. The damn thing actually fits and is comfortable to wear, even when bigger than some down there. Wearing other cups, I couldn't sit for very long without lots of compression and discomfort from lack of enough room. This is more fluid in motion and hardly know it's there. My son and nephew are both wearing them now too.

Hey Jim,

I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know how impressed I am with the spider guard. Since beginning jiu jitsu back in 2007, I have gone through 4 athletic protectors. Recently, I’ve been using a titanium one. And, I must admit that I was a little skeptical initially about the degree of protection the Spider Guard would offer, but after rolling with it, I was very impressed. The spider guard will now be my go-to protector because it provided the same protection as my titanium protector but it was so light that I forgot I was wearing one.

Great product!!!

Sincerely,

Ray A. Young

I have been using a Spider Guard Web-Flex Athletic Cup for about two months
now and it is far and away my favorite cup that I've used for Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu. This cup provides excellent protection without ever causing
pinching or other discomfort that can can arise naturally when cups shift
around while practicing or competing.

Thanks!

The Spider Guard is my favorite athletic cup for BJJ. It provides protection while remaining flexible. Unlike other cups, I never notice it when I'm rolling. In my experience, the unique positions of BJJ make a cup necessary. I would recommend Spider Guard to anyone who trains BJJ or submission wrestling.

Awesome cup! I use it all the time. Even for messing around and playing pond hockey especially when I'm the goalie.
